…And that’s a wrap! It’s been an absolute joy recording my upcoming album for Delphian Records in the gorgeous acoustic of Stapleford Granary over the last month or so.
The final session took place on 24th February with the superb Mark Simpson in two of my Flight Studies for solo basset clarinet, The Swift and The Kestrel. Before that we had Guy Johnston (in my Solo Cello Suite), the Goldfield Ensemble (in my clarinet quintet, At Night), Benjamin Baker, Daniel Lebhardt and Matthias Balzat (in Five Highland Scenes and my Piano Trio).
The album is released on 11th November, and I’m delighted to share the album cover below, featuring textile art by my mother, Sabine Kaner.
